Western Society of Naturalists Conference: Monterey
Project researchers recently completed a poster to present at this year's Wester Society of Naturalists Conference on November 10 - 13 in Monterey, CA. This poster outlines project goals and exhibits the project's first test mosaic of an intertidal plot at the Scripps Coastal Reserve - composed of 93 images covering roughly 4 sq. m, stitched together into a continuous image.
The Western Society of Naturalists Conference is one of the largest gatherings of ecologists and specifically marine scientists in the United States. This offers an excellent opportunity to present project goals and get feedback from an extensive network of research scientists and MPA managers. This year's conference marks the 100th year anniversary of the society. Click this link to see the Rising Tides Poster, and this link to read more about the conference.
